it's awesomely awesome.
hmm... your head's tilted and from what i can see in your avatar, your left face (your left, not the viewer's) could be shaded a little more. shadows could be emphasized a little more. and you have this line thing on your right cheekbones. i can see where it comes from with the original picture, but as a vexel, it looks a little awkward. that's just my opinion. i love your style. KEEP UP THE VECTORING !!! STOP STOPPING!!! i loved the "let her fly" vector. |

When I do so, it comes off as looking odd to me so I revert back to what I was doing before. I definately had some trouble with it, especially for this particular image since I was working off of a very blurry image to begin with. But yeah, I'm a little weak on the shading. I'll work on that some. The line on my right cheekbone is my birthmark. I had originally removed it because I, too, thought it looked awkward, like it was an error. But someone in this thread mentioned my missing birthmark so I put it back in. Besides, I like my birthmark. Too bad it doesn't work well for vectoring. And thank you so much for your input. I may work on it some more, if not, I'll definately practice my shading more on my next vector, whenever that may be. |
