Do you think that George W. Bush influnced George W. H. Bush to go to war? or do you both think that G.W.H.B was stupid enough on his own?

I think that George W. Bush's dad definitely influenced him. A lot of people [including myself] think that he was "finishing what his father started".

Let me set things straight:

Current President = George Walker Bush

His Father (President, 1989 - 1993) = George Herbert Walker Bush

You mixed a couple of names up biggrin.gif

I think he had a lot of impact on it, but in the end it was George W. Bush's descision.

yes, I think his father definitely influenced him because his original plan was to capture saddam hussein, but he obviously didn't, so I think that played a factor.

Of course his dad influenced him... its his DAD.. the former president... who didn't quite manage to kick Saddam's ass outta Baghdad.

Yes, I was so confused too. I was like wha? But thanks for telling us.
Anyways, I think our current president forced himself to make this
war. I mean isn't his father dead? All I know is that it's bush's responsible
and his fault for starting the war. Maybe his dad gived him some advice
but not something to do with the war. I mean they turned to be presidents,
they can do anything they want. So I guess that's what our current president
bush did.
