My fellow cB members, I have seen many questions being asked about this (from experience) on how to download fonts. And today you will learn! :wink:

Alrighty, first off make sure you are on your master account on your computer. Also known as the one that controls everything and the account where you can make more accounts, bka the one that your parents use :stubborn:

Now now to start off, find a good font site where they provide uh good fonts for you like dafont.com [link] that's a good place to find them :happy: when you're there find the font you want:

Next to it there should be a button that says download Mac/Pc:

Don't click it yet, first you must go to you font file. start>control panel>fonts. Now that you have that open, minimize it for now.

Now we go back to the site, click on download PC or MAC which every one is for your computer.

You'll see a sign asking if you'd like to save or open. Click open. But first be sure you have winzip first, which you can download [link].

Now that that's done you'll see this:

Click use Evaluation Version. keep hitting next until you see you finish. Another folder should pop up:

This is where your font folder comes in, open it up and the downloaded font folder at the same time and drag the font into the font folder. And there you have it a new font. Continue the same process if you wanna dl more.

For Windows XP ::
After you've got it downloaded....
1. Double-click on the font file you downloaded, I suggest you save it to a folder called 'Font' or something when you dowload so it's easy to find.
2. Unzip it, it's one of the options on the left-hand side.
3. Go to control panel and switch to Classic view.
4. Click 'File' on the top, under the title bar.
5. Choose 'Install New Font' and find you font.
(Double-click on c:/, then documents and settings, and you can find it from there...)
