Hexidecimal Codes

ever tried to design something on your laptop and it doesnt have adobe or the internet, so theres no way you can get the hexidecimal value for some color?

or if you dont have adobe but all the online hexidecimal charts only have a few colors, or if it takes too long to look for the color you want?

well why not just make your own color?

this tutorial will help you calculate your hexidecimal value using MS Paint and the Calculator.

----------------------

open up MS Paint. (start>>programs>>accessories>>paint)

double click on any color in your color pallette and then click "Define Custom Colors >>"





choose a color on the right side by clicking anywhere in the spectrum gradient



open up calculator (start>>programs>>accessories>>calculator)

click view>>scientific

[color=red][u]make sure you're in Dec. mode[/u][/color]

go back to Paint, and enter the [color=red]Red [/color]value into your Calculator


then switch to Hex mode and write down the value it gives you



go back to paint and repeat this with your [color=green]Green [/color]and [color=blue]Blue [/color]values. REMEMBER TO GO BACK TO DEC. MODE BEFORE YOU REPEAT THESE STEPS.

put all three new values together to get your hexidecimal code.

(3F + 52 + AD = 3F52AD)

i got [color=#3F52AD]#3F52AD[/color]

now u can use that in your css!

hey, this tutorial looks like it could really help me but your images don't show up so i don't know fully how to find the hexcolorcode i was wondering if you could help me individually or just make a new tutorial?
