This layout is based by a song by Asian Kung-Fu Generation by a Japanese Rock band. The name of the very song may be translated as "A Flower Named After You". On the banner, there are lyrics from the song although translated roughly (and also in japanese). As for the vexel (banner), everything was made from scrap with the pen tool on Photoshop. My initial design was to use the cover art from the band's single but I decided that the method was too cheap. Not to mention, the CD's cover was beautiful the way it was so there would be no need to edit it. <br /> <br />

So my next design, in which I stuck with at the end, was to use solid colors and construct an abstract layout with the pen tool. Unfortunately, I did alter the banner by adding a gradient to the flower. On the other hand, I was happy with the results of this layout. The one thing I would fix is the comments section and its gap. So if the problem bothers anyone, the comment section is removable by deleting the last div code with the class "comments".

i like the header and the colours, but I just dont like the rollovers for some reason.

i love this layout, it is absolutely beautiful & the song is perfect for me. unfortunately for whatever reason it isn't functioning properly. I've had it up for a couple days now, but today its started acting rather wonky.

OMFG i LOVE the colors on this but i think that "SuddenlyMichelle" [june 30,2009 6pm] was right if it were a taddddddddd bit smaller i think it would have a much more effect on me!
