Changing Around Navigation, Is this even possible? Options

I want the navigation that connects to the userinfo, friends, memories, and history to work from the background image, but I'm not sure how to do this.

Further explanation, see the background image I'll be using:

See how I labeled the things? I saw this in another layout somewhere, but I can't figure out how to do it myself. Can someone help me out with this? I'd appreciate it muchly ^_^.
Also, what kind of layout do I need for this sort of thing? Generator or what? S1 or S2?

I *think* I've figured out how to work the extra navigational bar underneath the image on the left, and how to position journal entries into the larger gray box... but could you either explain, or link me to the best post about this? I've searched and haven't found something that worked with it.

Because of the size of the image, you should NOT be using a bmp file.
It takes much longer for it to load, and the file size is larger.

All you need to do to work with it, is remove the navigation, and use div layers to place your entries, and sidebar so that it fits with the background image.
