But when I hit preview, this is what it shows:

It was working really great a few minutes ago, but when I went to add something in the about me part, it just went blahh. Please help, I tried restarting my computer, logging out of myspace then back again and still, it doesn't work.

with the version of the flash music player you are currently using, it is best that you use the embed tag instead. go here for more details.

it's because your playlist contains code for the other verison of the flash player. look at top of the tutorial and you will know what i mean. did you rename your files from mp3player.swf to player.swf?

okay, so i changed my playlist.xml file to match the one at the tutorial, but it still won't work. No, i didn't rename my file. It's still player.swf.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

try using the your old playlist.xml and download the other version of the player. copy the content of playlist.xml to the file named "mp3player.xml". pay special attention to the coding of the .xml file. for help, go here for here

updated: The player ONLY accept MP3 with NO SPACE between the name. look at the url for the 4th song. that might be causing the problem.

Well, I fixed the space problem (replacing the spaces with %20)...then used the Version 2 of the Flash Player (playlist.xml & player.swf) and now its working. Thanks for your help :)

I was wondering though, if theres any way that I could make it start with a random song?

don't think you can with the player.swf version. if you really want random play use the other version mp3player.swf

nah, i dont think i'll be using the mp3player version..the <iframe> code messes up for some reason when you hit the preview button.

Thank you so much for your help though :)
