This was the latest poem I've written (it's been a long while since I've written any poetry) but I wrote this on December 15th 2004. It's about a close friend of mine who was murdered the previous day. Drop ya thoughts. Thanks for readin'. One.

A young, beautiful girl; just at the age of fifteen,
With so much potential to do so many great things,
A girl so sweet with many ambitions and dreams,
But struck down at her peak; a disaster unseen,
How can this be? I still can't believe,
That something so tragic would happen to someone so sweet,
I miss you terribly, I know everybody does,
You were more than a great friend; an Angel sent from above,
It's hard to imagine life without your presence,
You were more than a part of mine; you were the essence,
I cried so much when I first heard the news,
It was a shock to me; I was so confused,
I refused to believe it; I remember the day clearly,
It was early in the morning; half past three,
Fearfully knowing the truth; I called you and texted you,
Then cried again while imagining the pain that you went through,
That same day, I stopped by your house around six A.M.,
I sat still in my car, not even daring to look in,
I sat there in sadness; knowing I'd never see you again,
It tore me inside knowing that I had lost a close friend,
I remember when we used to talk on the phone all night,
I remember looking with you in the sky for stars shining bright,
I remember the way you made me laugh and your beautiful smile,
I remember thinking how spending time with you was so worthwhile,
I will remember the things that you taught me forever,
And I will never forget the times that we spent together,
I miss you dearly, and I always will,
But now I realize that you are here still,
Because even though you're gone, we will never be apart,
For you will reside forever within my heart.

[I]Rest in Peace Jennifer.

l'm sorry about what happened to your friend.

l like the poem its so emotional.

specially the last part

I sat still in my car, not even daring to look in,
I sat there in sadness; knowing I'd never see you again,
It tore me inside knowing that I had lost a close friend,
I remember when we used to talk on the phone all night,
I remember looking with you in the sky for stars shining bright,
I remember the way you made me laugh and your beautiful smile,
I remember thinking how spending time with you was so worthwhile,
I will remember the things that you taught me forever,
And I will never forget the times that we spent together,
I miss you dearly, and I always will,
But now I realize that you are here still,
Because even though you're gone, we will never be apart,
For you will reside forever within my heart.

rip jennifer cu

i didnt personally know her, but practically half of my friends did . from what i heard, she was such a nice person  =T

Ah, How interesting that I should find someone who knew her or rather knew of her. That was uncalled for. Indeed, she was a nice person...and I should've been there so that she would still be a nice person rather than someone who was a nice person...

mm...it wasnt your fault that something like this happened . i didnt personally know her, so i cant say something exceptionally touching, but all i can say is, she's in a better place and its a shame that months after her death, and you're still upset . =(

Hmmm...how could I not be upset? She was very close. We had a thing for each other, she was the first person I truly cared about after my ex. It wasn't my fault that it happened, indeed, but I could have prevented it if I wasn't such a chicken back then.

That day, I was driving home on the 405. I had planned to finally ask her out after all these months. I was it was around 2:45 PM, just before she got out of school, but I knew she'd pick up her phone if I called. I was gonna call and pick her up so I could finally do it. But I chickened out. I never called her and I just went home. That day she walked home like she normally does and walked straight into a situation I could have easily prevented...
Rest in peace Jennifer. I am eternally sorry...
