My weight, Healthy or not..... ??

So, I'm 15 years old and I weigh 107 lbs. My mom keeps telling me to gain weight, but I think I'm fine. Is this healthy... my weight?

^ Yeah, i agree with that. I mean if you were really really tall at 107 it'll look awkward for some reason. However if you are at an average height for a 15 yr. old girl, you should be fine. haha

your a bit underweight for 15. unless your short. but the weight is fine. i guess.

uhh but anyways...it sounds like you're underweight since you're so tall & weigh nothing! put it this way, if your bones are jutting out of your back, then you need to go put some meat on your bones.

Well, I played soccer for a little while, and I play Hockey.... they're both fairly active sports.

I am getting a physical soon for Hockey. Like, in the next month.

physicals dun do much for weight... they juss give u a gauge of wut u are on the specific date... that weight is fine for u espec since ur active... if u needa get weight... whey or soy protein sold at vitamin shops are good to put on lean weight

I think it's normal. Also remember that muscle weighs more than fat o.O I wouldn't worry to much about it =)

you weigh 107 and your 5'5?? that's not healthy. i think you should gain weight. unless you were always that skinny? like do you eat alot?

im like you too. im 15 and i weight 97. my doctor says its my metabolism. my dad keeps trying to force feed me food. haha.

Eh..I don't think that chart is exact. Some people have fast metabolisms therefore they are naturally skinny. I'm 5'3" and weigh 93 lbs and I'm perfectly healthy because it's normal for me. It all depends. I never go off of the charts you find on the internet because each one is usually different from the other one and it's never exact meaning each person is different. The BMI chart says my boyfriend is obese lol and he's definitely not.

Isnt there something called Body Mass Index or sthin you can find online where you can like type your weight, height etc and they'll tell you if you're healthy or not.. try googling BMI , body mass index or sthin

i'm the same age/height/& weight as yooou. i eat a lot though. my mom said i don't gain much weight because i'm active in a lot of sports

well you say you do sports right? and if you feel healthy and you eat 3 meals a day and get your excercise.

it should be fine. dont mind what other ppl think or say :S its different for everyone. it all depends in their metabolism and body frame, and all this other crap
