Ah, personality is first on my list. They've got to be kind, not perverted too much would be nice, and they have to be funny!
Looks are totally a bonus. But of course, I'd love to have those good looks mixed the personality...who doesn't? Well, that's the gist of why I like this guy now. He has all of those qualities.

well... if im looking at him i'm going to notice his hair first. lol. and then if he seems like a pretty cool guy (good personality) then i would want to get to know him more. but if he's a jerk... i'll just admire his looks from a far. lol.

well. he has to have a GREAT personality. then overall looks like he can't be fat, too skinny, nerdy, etc. he has to be older and taller than me (not necessarily years older) then he has to be funny. i love guys that can make me laugh. he has to be fun too, so i won't get bored lols. he has to be sweet, kinda, loving, etc. he has to be smart. but not smarter than me cause then they might get too cocky. and they can't be too too perverted.

If he can make me smile, has an pretty nice personality, taller than me, not skinnier than me, looks pretty decent and is somewhat strong (enough to give me, a 95 pound girl, a piggyback ride).

I look for personality then looks.
If that guy is shy, but friendly once you get to know him, he's my type. If that guy's conceited and is two-faced, nahhh. I want a guy who's mysterious. Not VERY mysterious though, or else I wouldn't get to know him well. I'd like a guy who would go out of his way to do little things that'd make me happy. [No, not buy me things. Just saying 'hi' when he sees me, or abandons his group of friends to hang out with me.] And if he's average-looking, but has an awesome personality, then I'd date him.  But I'm too young for dating, IMO. 13. Jeez.

i seriously go by looks when i first see a guy (come on who doesnt) im mean yeah sure if i know someone for a while and then decided i like them i wouldnt go by looks then. also i like them to be..

The personality. I had a crush on this one guy but the more I got to know him I was disgusted because he was really mean to everyone and rude. Even if the person is attractive, without a good personality it means nothing.

Honestly (and there is reasoning behind this) the very first thing I look for is style. Looks aren't a huge thing for me, I mean, if a guy is terrible looking, I take that as a sign of how he takes care of himself. And When I say terrible, I don't mean his actual features, but, if he is very overweight, or isn't very clean looking.
Now, the reason I look for style first, is because you generally have to see someone before you can get to know them. This is thinking logically. Before you get to talk to him, would you rather base him on things he cant control so much (i.e., facial structure, eye color), or the way he chooses to present himself? Naturally, after that, I look for a sense of humor. And then it sort of falls into place, or doesn't. |

The first thing I notice is a guys hair. He has to be funny and smart. Must be a Yankee's fan and support womens lib (and basket ball teams-you wouldn't believe how many guys in my school think the WNBA is bull). He's got to be smart...or at least have some common sense.
