How to paint nails :D For those who need help Options

First, clean your nails with nail polish remover. Be sure to get all the old nail polish off. Done? Good. Go wash your hands with soap and water. Dry your hands completley.

Step uno-I usually put a clear coat on the bottom first. It isnt necessary but it might help. A good way to do it is one stroke on the right side, one stroke in the middle and one stroke on the left side. You dont have to do it this way, but you could. If you decide to put on a clear coat first, let it dry for about 45 mins-an hour.

Step dos-Put on a first coat of the color of your choice. Be sure to not miss any spots. If you have trouble doing your other hand like me(since im a righty and cant paint my nails on my right hand) take your time and make sure to take off any of the nail polish on your skin.

Step tres-Isnt counting in spanish fun? Now, after 45 mins-an hour, you can put on your second coat, (if necessary or wanted) and do the same as step dos. You should do fine :D

Step quatro-You could put on a third coat if wanted. If not wanted and you only want 2 coats, you can put on a clear coat so there is no chipping.

Got it? Good

Tips:
If wanted, fill a big bowl with warm water and soak your hands in it for about 10 minutes. This makes your hands soft and smooth :D

If your using fake nails, dont use the kind you glue on if you have short nails. It ruins your nails A LOT (trust me, bad experience)

Dont bite your nails. First of all its bad, second, it ruins and makes your nails bad.

Dont try to take your nail polish off unless your using nail polish remover. Trying to scrape it off with your other nail is a BAD thing to do. Dont do it.

o i wana add something!! since im not to good at painting my nails i just make suer i cover like the whole nail and the stuff that gets onmy skin liek come off in the shower, like in hot water so my nails end up lokng pretty good... well anyway it works for me so i thought i'd share

I DO THAT, TOO! Once, I was so lazy, I like covered the entire top of my fingertip in nailpolish, let it dry completely, than rubbed off the parts on my skin in hot water. ^^

Um.. Fake nails are leave your real nails icky, but they are gorgeous, and the color tends to stay on longer.. <3 But I just get normal manicures! B/c I like the massage *rawr.

umm...do you by any chance know how to give yourself a french manicure? i'd get one at a salon but all that stuff about how you can get AIDS from the manicure tools if they accidentally cut you with an infected tool because they don't cleanse their tools properly kind of scare me...

Chii, french manicures are easy =)

Clean your nails. File them, soak them and dry them with a towel. Push back the cuticles and then buff them.

Apply a thin layer of base coat under and over the entire nail. Let it dry

Apply pink polish to your entire nail. Apply 2 coats.

Apply white polish to your nail tips. Dip the brush into white polish and apply it to the tip of your nail by stroking it from the outer edge to the center on an angle. Do one side at a time. Use brush to round out the V shaped angle formed where the two strokes converge at the center of the nail. Use white polish under the nail tip too. Let it dry.

Apply a clear topcoat under and on the nail completley.

And whala! Your done! Just dont touch anything while your nails start to dry

chii- That because you sure went to the wrong place!....My parent sterilize them. We have a sterlizer and we sterlize at the end of the day. :) Aslo a tip for you..Ask them to spary alcohol before they begin.

Awesome tips..Here my suggestion i guess or the way i do it since i do nail every freaken weekend. Blah!

1. Basecoat: Base coat is a coat that help strengthen your nail and help to avoid yellow stain from the nail polish. You would apply basecoat just as if your applying nail polish. One coat is enough. (Suggestion for a basecoat is great? is OPI! OPI is awesome and it truely work! Don't believe me? Ask any professional!)

2. Nail Polish: Of course you pick your color. Now remember, if you get it on yourself. DON"T FREAK! It will come off. There one way that i always do, but lets start first. Apply the coat thin not THICK! Reason for thin is because you have to apply a 2nd round to make the coat even. Plus if you go thin, you will dry faster and the COLOR will COME OUT EVEN AND SLEEK. Don't forget to polish your tips also. That help to prevent from chipping fast. Start from left to right then middle. Its important to do that way because if you do left middle then right. And when your not doing it correctly, it will show up jaggie and it show line when it dry. Then when you apply 2nd round. It won't look even. You can do right to left then middle. How every you choose is your choice. Now if you get it on yourself, its okay. Take a brush. Even your make up brush. A small tip. Dip it in acetone and just brush it likely. It will come off. You dont have to take it 100% off. The rest will come off when you take a shower.

3. Top Coat: Everyone always think its help prevent from chipping, but your wrong. Top coat is only for extra shine and of course dry faster. That all it does. You apply one coat only. Again, right to left then middle, or left to right then middle.

:) Tada....Now your nails look awesome. Need any more tip..pm me..

Lucky!! Sometimes I have to do my own nails becuase Im dirt broke. Other times I just get my nails done by my mom's friend. She works at the nail salon thingy and gives me discounts. =D
