I know there are topics on this, but I've tried tutorials but I am so lost. I try to make an amazing banner but I just can't. Hm...if Angeliceyez00 reads this...help! Your banners are so cool, and I was wondering what program you use to edit them. Currently, I have Adobe Photoshop 7.0 (8.0 is way expensive blink.gif ) but I just don't know how to work around w/ it. My problem is trying to do the little grid thingie...and all that cool stuff (wow, that was really vague). I don't know, I just need a general idea on how to do a fantastic banner. Please help (anybody?). thanks! _smile.gif

play with the brushes, shapes and filters. To start out put each item on it's own layer...that way you can easily shut the layer off and on to see if you like that element or not.
The best way to learn is by trial and error, just play around with it for awhile and eventually you'll get the hang of it.

You can make your own patterns and use them as grids.

You can look up "photoshop+tutorials" on Google and it'll give you many sites to teach you what you're looking for.
