Is there a faster way to undo an Action in Photoshop instead of just Edit > Undo? Because that method only undoes one step at a time. And many times I just want to undo the whole Action. Thanks

In the history window, just click on the step that you want it to go back to.

It's CTRL + SHIFT + Z. Going forward a step is CTRL + Z.

Ctrl + Z is just the hot key for Edit > Undo. Still only goes back one step at a time. Some Actions has a lot of steps in it. And I think in ps it only lets you Undo like 20 times? I was frustrated because I was working on something and I was trying an Action and I couldn't undo it back to what I had originally because that Action had over 20 steps I guess. But thanks for the tip on the History window. =o} Still trying to figure out a magic way to undo a whole Action though.. hrmmm =oT

The action window? Hmm, I've never used that. What's it for?

Hm..you can still undo an action as many times as you want. Or at least, my PS lets me do that. In your Preferences, you can choose how many times you can undo. It doesn't go up to 20 because I have like 999 and greater.

ahhh no wonder! I've never checked out my Preferences before. But I just did and in the History States section it says 20. I changed that to 100. biggrin.gif Thanks! Now I can just Ctrl + Z it like crazy.

Photoshop Actions are really cool. I use those all the time. Mainly for image editing/effects and frames. You can download different Photoshop Actions here: http://share.studio.adobe.com/axBrowseProduct.asp?p=2

Basically you press the Play button in the Actions window and it creates that effect for you. Made this border earlier with an Action biggrin.gif :

Oki I'll close this later if anyone wants to comment first.
