Okay i have found out a way to get free ringtones on a certain cellphone.
The Samsung E-315, i have tried it on the E105 but it doesnt work. I think thought it will work on the E-316 and above.
Its really easy. First get an MIDI Files, i tried MMF but it dont work. Then you just email it to your phone. It should come up as a "Picture Message", you go to "save Content" and you pick sound. THen you change the name or leave it and just save it.

Thats about it to get free ringtones, if you need questions just PM me. (oh by the way dont be dissapointed if the sound quality isnt quite like the phone, or if the song is delayed before it actually plays. Its just the cellphone.) biggrin.gif

Oh and if you wanna email its Yournumberhere@tmomail.net, Happy listening! wink.gif

I have a Motorola V220 it works. But you cant send mp3's or wma's cause they're too big of a file for your cell.

^ Actually you can tamper with the phone and unlock it using some kind of firmware (samsung terms) or something like that and set it to accept larger music files.

My SGH-E315 only allows music 32 kb or lower, thus I must make the sound a .mmf as well as changing the bitrate to 4 hz. Dunno if that made any sense. Anyways, There's a way to change it by geting some new program and "flashing" the phone. IDK how to describe it since I've never done it, but it's possible. Anything's possible when it comes to phones. wink.gif

There's even a way to turn the shutter sound off the e315's camera. I NEED to figure out how to do that lol.

The only bad part about emailing things to yourself is that it WILL change. Whether your receiving or sending picture messages or text messages, there's a charge. :P

5 cents a text. 20 cents a picture text.
