Forgive me for sounding like a complete and utter newb [even though technically, I am on createblog], but does anyone know how to take a picture and "cartoonize" it? Like, make the colors blocked up like in iPod commercials? Sorry if I'm not making any sense, but can someone please help me?

....You made a duplicating topic. -.- Next time, just wait until someone goes move it. It's more annoying when you post a new one.

You're talking about vectoring, right?
Well, it's called vector or vexel, I guess.

Shawty_toya, she means a cartoonize effect, not a outline (don't worry i'm not being mean, please don't get mad) anyways, search through good-tutorials.com, they have a lot of tutorials there. i hope you can find what you needed ;)

But that tutorial gives you a step to make them. You can just skip the outline part.

She does mean outlining, like sillhouetting. All the iPod commercials have those sillouehettes of people listening to their iPod.

For the iPod outlining thing, isn't it the same as vectoring, but instead with just one layer and everything's filled with black?

Idk.

Well, there's an easier way to do a sillhouette then using the pen tool to trace around the whole image.
