holy.. crap...
I was just talking to my friends online, then it was completely dark.  I got so scared!Eh.. it was for, I think, 10 minutes. I was about to die if it went even longer! O.O How long was the longest blackout for?

Hmm...it was during a tornado. My sister and I were home alone. I think it was last spring. Anyways, we went under the stairs in the basement when the tornado came. It ripped the roofs off of some of the houses on our street and there were mailboxes, chairs, trampolines, etc everywhere. It was a mess. Electricity was the least of our problems...sort of.

the longest black out was for six hours since i just got home from school. the black outs occur about 2-3 years ago in L.A

i never had black outs but its been times where the cables gone out.. i freaked out.

about 16 hours...it was so creepy..it happened around 6:30 in the evening and lasted untill maybe 10 in the morning the next day..the storm knocked out the power...that was last year...in janurary in hawaii..we had no school that day..=)

Hmm, there was a blackout here in NYC in the summer of 2003, but I wasn't here for it. It was kinda long though.

well someone cut the power in our house and then someone started banging on the front door. it was f*ckin scary cuz it was in the middle of the night and i was alone with my friend and my parents were out somewhere. We screamed loud which was worse because now that person knew someone was in the house. and then the banging stopped and the power came on and then my parents came home. Out tools and satellite was missing though.. :p

3-4 days. It was that big blackout on the West Coast. I forgot what year it was in, I think it was 2003? Maybe. Not sure. The weird thing was that it was only my block that blacked out in the neighborhood. My family had to stay at my uncle's house because his house was also in our neighborhood.
