Yeh. Recipe time, kiddos.

Spanish Rice

QUOTE
Prep./Total Time: 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

1 can (14 1/2 ounces) vegetable broth.
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes.
1 cup uncooked long grain rice.
1 teaspoon olive oil.
1 teaspoon chili powder.
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano.
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt.

Directions:

In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

Yield: 6 servings.

Mmm. I love this stuff. :D

I got the recipe out of a magazine.

What do you eat it with? Well, can you eat it alone...like fried rice? Or...does it go with anything?

You can eat it with anything, really. My mom always makes mexican rice (we're mexican tongue.gif ) and that sounds just like her recipe!
We usually eat it with Enchiladas, beans, tostathas(sp?) it's good stuff, if you cook it right of course!
