Hm. I know it's been a long while since I've posted a new poem.
So here it goes.
Go easy on me.
It's been a while.

I'm Sorry
I'm sorry for never being good enough
I'm sorry for thinking that I was the girl
You were thinking of

I'm sorry I smiled at you
When you were noticing someone else
I'm sorry that you don't know I'm alive
And that I can't be anything better than myself

I feel sorry
For thinking that things would be alright
I feel sorry
For those wastead tears I spent every night

I'm sorry to finally realize
That people do in fact move on
I'm sorry to miss that look on your face
When I had my back to you
And you'd already left and gone

I'm sorry that a part of me died inside
When your happiness ate away my fears
I'm sorry that I couldn't stop
All those false hopes and tears

Hrm, Not bad.
I've heard/read poems that were VERY similar.
I think you could've gone an extra mile with this one.
Good to see more work from you though.
