this is about an old friend who got married on saturday. he's only 17. i hate him and i'm glad he's practicly dead already. may he rot in hell.

SIMON
Simon was a decent kid
Enlisted in the young marines
We used to play with magic cards
Watched cartoons and wrestling
That was way back in sixth grade
When their was nothing wrong at all
He was my best friend now I hate his f*cking guts
I wonder. Where was our downfall?

Simon was a rebel kid
Smokes cigarettes in the boys room
He played a lot of videogames
All alone up in his room
That was way back in ninth grade
When I didn’t talk to him that much
That’s when his mom became a noise
And his grades became such and such

Simon was a high school drop out
All he does is play guitar
And drink and smoke and f*ck and drink more
And f*ck and drink and smoke some pot
That was way back in 11th grade
When he and I became nothing
It makes me sad. I could have joined him
But I prefer integrity

Now Simon is a waste of life
And I can’t stand the thought of him
He’s the epitome of that I hate
And for everyone he’s digging a pit
That was 2004, October
As good as dead at 17
I look at him living in his shit hole
And say “I’m glad that isn’t me”
