Changing the date, as in, the colors, size, etc. Options

Hey, I was just looking around here for...God knows how long, and I couldn't find one post about how to change the colors or sizes of the dates (on the entries), without effecting the normal text in the entry. If anyone has a script I could use (I saw one a long time ago...) I'd greatly appreciate it.
