This is a selection from a collection of stories I had to do for an English class.
--- Cousins I was always close with my cousins. They were the only other kids I could associate myself with in the family, considering my status as an only child. I found myself particularly attached to one certain cousin, Liza. Amongst the other cousins, we were left with one another, for the others chose to play with the ones they considered 'cool'. It never mattered, hell, we usually preferred it. We understood each other well, and got along just great. I remember one moment together with her that I will never forget. Her brother and our other cousin were once again playing together, leaving me and Liza out of their two-person fun. I remember what we said to each other. "I wish you weren't my cousin, but my sister instead" I sheepishly said. "Yeah, me too" she replied. And then we remained silent, a little secret floating between us, as we simply stood next to one another, watching the other two play. |

oo this one stood out to me, i like it alot
i love all my cousins...i dont have any sisters, so that is what they are to me weee, compassionate moment i like how you ended it, too, it really sticks the feelings and emotions to the reader |

Yeah, I found being an only child pretty hard.
That's all I wanted for my Birthdays when I was little...A brother or sister. Anyway, if you guys want to know what happens after the story, me and her stayed really close. We would hang out everyday, skate together everyday, etc etc. Now, things are a little different, especially with her boyfriend and all... But even when I had girlfriends, I would make time for her...

Thanks...I'll never forget that day...
I love that memory, and I've brought it up before to her...She still remembers it as well.
