be nice to someone, lead them on. might tell them you like them, but you are nice to him/her because you dont want to reject them. and just be nice but you dont like him/her situation B tell the person the truth, i dont like u, im sorry. but truth hurts. which one hurts more? to tell u all, im not the person doing this, i RECIEVED it. |

I agree with Seon Ho.
Eventually, they're going to find out that you're leading them on, and that you were just trying to be nice, and you didn't really have feelings for them. I think that would hurt way worse than just speaking the truth. I'd speak the truth nicely, though. =] |

I agree...A. Is so much harsher. If you lead them on, and they find out that you don't like them..it'll hurt even more. The longer you drag it on...the worse it gets...and the worse it feels for them.

I'd say A, but it really depends on how you present yourself in situation B. I mean, dude, I'd feel pretty crushed if someone was being "honest" with me and said straight to my face in the middle of the hall, "I HATE YOUR GUTS AS WELL AS THAT HORRID FACE UPON THE FRONT OF YOUR HEAD!"

eh im friendly and sometimes that can be hard to read signals haha........but i dont lead people on...if i know they're hitting on me or tryin to, ill just say"hey your great and all but im not sure if u like me the way i like u" or some crap like that .
Leading them on only prolongs the rejection and hurt more....because its like u gave them time to prove themself or w/e and u reject so its like they failed .....and that sucks... WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY IS! Leading people on = bad = because ur toying with the persons emotion and wasting each others time Truth = hurts = but it saves alot of problems that can rise from hiding the truth.. |
