Do you have a great mod in mind but don't know how to code? Post them here so that others can give a shot at it!

Just use the one provided, and instead of using IMG for images use EMBED for flash.

here's an interesting one:

webcam javascript

something that will make the webcam take pictures every few minutes

i don't know, i wouldn't use it cause i don't have a webcam but it would be cool to see someone give it a shot

You will need to have the webcam set up to take shots at specified intervals and upload to a webspace (most webcam software comes with this feature, creative does for sure). Then you simply link the image to your xanga. For example, the webcam takes shots at 30 min intervals, uploads it to a webspace as webcam.jpg replacing the older one, and in your xanga, you simple need an image to webcam.jpg, which will reflect the latest shot. Nothing to do with javascript.

I think that if you were to make a weblog border-- and it would either be able to input your own image using its URL or to include it in the initial html. For example, if you were to make a script that instead of using a solid or dotted line for a border of a weblog, using little stars or hearts. thumbsup.gif biggrin.gif

www.xanga.com/xxouttheheart

if anyone can show me how to do that, ill be your slave forev... uhh... for a minute or two.

Hey, I am currently using this and it works, I think it's what you're talking about. when you leave the page the transition is a star enlarging to show the new page.

<META http-equiv=Page-Exit
content=progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Iris(duration=2,irisStyle="star">

Put that in your custom header section. wink.gif

I know you said remove ads, which I'll get around to sooner or later, but couldn't there be a way to move the ad to another place..? Like at the bottom of the page or something. Or a pop-up.
