HELP putting a layout code in a scroll box!!!!!! Options

I just made a Design site and I know how to do pretty much everything on there, like links and things like that...but I have been looking all day for tutorials on how to put a layout code in a scroll box.

And I found one that I thought would work. It put the code in there, but it was all messed up with <P> or something like that showing everywhere, and the code didn't work for the layout. So, if anyone can help me, I would REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate it!!!!

Ok.
I finally got what I wanted.
I am no long using a scroll box.
I'm using the <text area> code for it.
The only problem that I'm having now is that there are a bunch of <br> showing up all in my layout code and I don't know how to get rid of them
It would be too much to have to go and erase them for all of the layouts.

What can I do?
