Can anyone explain how to make an avatar? It's just a picture...right? sorry...i'm such a noob!

How to make an avatar...?
Well yeah, it's just a picture. You're going to need a photo editing program, i actually use Adobe photoshop. But all you really need to do is figure out the dimensions you want (i use 100 x 100), make the pic you want, then upload it to a server. I recomend using photobucket.com for hosting. I dont even think you have to upload it if its just an avatar really...i think theres an option in "edit profile" to upload it straight to from your comp. Anyway, there is no set "way" to make an avatar, just experiment with image programs until you get the hang of it. |
