Starting over on Directory, Directory Help Please Options

I'm on my hosting accoont right now and I would like to ask some more questions. I'm having problems with posting as the message board does not sit still here. It keeps floating up and down. Is this normal?

When I go to my file manager which is were I upload all of my files I have

Name

cgi-bindir

error_docsdir

httpdocsdir

httpsdocsdir

pddir755root

tmpdir

.qmail? (Can Not be moved)

default.css (can not be moved)

index.html (can not be move)

index.html.html (can not be moved)I put this here.


Then I got to my httpdocs directory and that is were I add my site live.

I see this at the top of these file root/http/

and then I choose which directory to add my site which I'm not sure if I should create a directory called marynmissouri.com or can I call it something else?



what I did at first was creat a directory that said index.htm, I assumed that was the directory I was going to upload my website into because I had no public_html or index_html

Well that did not work so I created several diffrent ones each time thinking i was doing something wrong. Each time I either coud not get my whole entire website uploaded *EDITED* or I did not see it at all.

I had uploaded so many times that Friday I removed everything I uploaded because I assumed I was getting lost because of all of the files.

I also have software installed in my directory also. You can see most of it and I have my WP installed in the index directory right now.

I'm just confused on were to put my website and then how to add it.

I have come up with a tree (i'm guessing) to add.

I have a website for each word that I have added.

marynmissouri-website for basic web design

shop-website

Is this the wrong way?

I'm trying to start from the beginning so I may figure out what the problem is.

I'm using Globat Hosting.

I need to make a Parent Directory and put my page in the root file now, but I'm not sure how? Globat does not except the index.html or index.php so I'm a little confused at this moment?

Uhh, what host are you using? Maybe you can email them for help. I can't see your site becuase my compooper says that I need to enable intranet settings which I don't want. Sorry.
