lets get something straight, about the mods Options

i'm going to try to remain as calm as i can about this. but you all know me so .. yeah.. if i get a little out of line, you'll have to forgive me.

i dont understand how some of the members can bash the mods when they really dont know crap about what we have to put up with every day.

seriously, if you had to deal with 22,257 people everyday, receiving 20 pms a day from people who either need help with something, want to request a layout, or people who you've warned or yelled at for one reason or another because they broke a rule, and they pm you just to cuss you out because they think that's the mature thing to do in such case, then you wouldnt be all bright sunshine and daisies all the time, would you?

it's seriously really stressful sometimes, and i think some of you take for granted what we give you everyday. we try to give you as safe and friendly of an environment we can, and we're always willing to help people in reasonable situations, and yes, at times we have to be strict and maybe sometimes mean in order to set things right.

please dont forget that there are 22,256 other members on this forum, and you are not the only person here. if you've broken a rule, it effects everyone else in one way or another and if we warn/yell at you about it, its because you are not only disrespecting the guidelines that the admins have layed down for us, but you are disrespecting other people who are trying to have a good time on this site.

i am curious to see what would happen if certain mod-bashing members were modded temporarily. i know for a fact that they would change their views in an instant if they had to go through what we have to go through everyday.

dont get me wrong here. just because i say that being a mod is sometimes stressful, it has still been by far one of the most fulfilling and enjoyable experiences in my life. but i just think that people need to seriously think out what kind of position we're put in before they judge us mods.

i'll leave this open so that some people can respond, before i ask someone to close this.

Well said Trish! I mean... we are doin our best to keep this community fun and enjoyable. When i see those topics about mods.. i just think "oh wow" am i not doin my job again. I know i as a mod have done my part. And i also know that the other mods are also doin what they can to keep this place safe and fun. If any one out there has any problem with a certain MOD please just PM the admins and let them handle it.

I'm getting pissed with all these I'm leaving because the mods here suck or The mods are corrupt and retarded too. I mean, that makes you somewhat RETARDED yourself, ebcause most sensible people would just leave. A mod's PURPOSE is to enforce the rules, not just sit there for your bashing. They are to tell people off for breaking the rules, and how the fcuk are you to blame them for that? The reason they were modded is to oversee createBlog.
If you think they are corrupt, suck it up and ignore them or leave. No need for a big long speech on how they are fcuking a$$holes and whatnot. Because frankly, no one could care less, because we'd have a lot less members if we listened to you and BELEIVED what you believed.

i'd like to add that the mods have lives too. we do have bad days, just like anyone else. female mods do pms. we arent super-beings that are impermiable to bad moods, and anger.

people are ignorant and fail to realise that the mods are here for a reason to keep things organized and safe for the members. people dont think before they bash the mods and this is obvious, i have no problem with the mods and ive been one at other message boards and i know that its not easy and the mod-bashing members dont make it any better.

Always remember that MODs are Human too. What Trish said... We have our good days and bad days. And when u get PMs up the @$$ asking for skins.. u'll get fraustrated too. I agree. Noone here is doing that bad of a job, except one person. It's all good. Everyone has there place in Createblog. No need to be jelous, and start bashing people. I have learned my mistakes from the past and have learned from them... and become more mature,if you havint noticed.

what? mods aren't super-robots programmed for my every need? im totally shocked.
i guess i never realized how much you guys actually do. the irony of it all is that there are:


4) mods who stress out over mod bashers, jerks, and asshlose. who provide us with qaulity xanga instructions and awesome designs.
3) the hard workers who work as hard as they can, to help people... these people are next in line mods. they are very creative and have a lot of knowledge and skill.
2) the wanna be's people like me who try to help, don't have as much knowledge or skill like the hard workers but aspire to be mods.
1) the noobs who are clueless
0) the idiot noobs who never read the rules and never learn.

but mod bashers come in every catigory... those batsards....
