Sorry everyone for the really long delay. But don't mind that, we're back with a new round! We had to eliminate two people to get it down to 10. We decided on (ai + you)and Linda (dreamerOi) Better luck next time, girls! We also decided that we just can't do comments this early in the competition, but we will soon. _smile.gif

Usually, when contestants send in their entries for cB Idol, they do pretty slow ballads. But this time, we don't want that. We want upbeat songs with fast tempos. Good luck, everyone! _smile.gif

Rules

How it Works:
  • Contestants either post their entries in the thread.
  • Each round, based on community feedback and judges' opinions, a participant will be eliminated from the competition until only one is left, our CB Idol. _smile.gif
Submission Guidelines:
  • Each submission should be at least 30 seconds long.
  • Use only your own voice - no background vocals or harmony.
  • Background music is allowed and recommended. If you don't know where to get accompaniment tracks for your songs, I suggest searching for a midi file - these can be easily found and are usually free.
  • Submission must be your own and must be something that was not previously posted elsewhere.
While we're still just starting CBI2, any suggestions (themes, judging, or otherwise) can be sent to Arjuna Capulong, tininja, or brownsugar The deadline is July 23.

a quick question..can we use k solo? they sometimes have "backround singers," but for the first round, someone recommended it to the contestants (and also 1 or 2 used it).

FYI: at 1:12 it kinda skips and the voice gets lowered I have no idea why, I just got this mic yesterday so yeah. >.<

and your words at the end about your voice hurting: im guessing you mean your vocal chords? maybe youre stretching it too much.

It's good but you sounded like you sang through of your nose.
Other than that I like it =] It sounded like you struggled in the last part of the song. You should've just sang your strongest part of the song that you could've sang. Are contestants even allowed to comment other contestants? O.O

If you re record this song.. over 10+ times, the word "everybody" just because your saying it so fast, it starts to die out... but thanks =P
