New Layout, Much better than the last one Options

After learning a little bit about DIV's, I decided to dive into making a new/better layout for my myspace.

The inspiration came from this layout by IVIike.
I used somewhat of the same color scheme and the paint splatter at the lower left of his layout (until I can create a nice one with brushes in PS).

I just wanted my own twist to my own layout so I threw in a couple pictures in the background of me on vacation's I've took... just personalized it a bit.

So thanks to IVIike for the amazing layout that inspired me!

It's pretty good, The circles are a little.. odd. But everything else looks nice.

haha, thats funny. You used some of the same brushes on mikes layout.

Anyway, its really simple. I don't really like the color used for some reason or the brush of the lines making the circles or whatever around the layout.

Personally I'd give it around a 6/10

Alright, well, I toned down the intensity of the circles that nobody likes :)

I put them there to begin with cuz I was just trying to make it a little more abstract than a few square boxes on a white background

But I think it looks a lot better now than it did before..

Old / New

I've gotten a lot of compliments from people on the added touch from the vacation pics, and ya I really really like them :)
I think I might use some of my newer pics from my albums and replace the one to the right in the background.. but I'm not sure yet, I like how it is.

I'm also looking into maybe changing it up a bit, incorporating the full sized image of this or this picture I took on my last trip to the ocean...

Ya, your work is amazing, and it inspired me to actually attempt my first div layout.
I had no idea how to make a div layout, only a slight idea because I knew css and html just never really used it to this extent on myspace.
I really liked the color scheme so I varied it a lil and stuck with it.
The actual div code is probably really similar because since I've never created a div layout before, I started with just basically your layout and changed the background picture after creating mine, and then playing with the css till everything was where it needed to be, then after that I played around trying to learn stuff with it and just customized it a little bit.

But ya, I didn't think very many people would like it since it's my first ever div layout, but I'm glad people think it's good work!
