Best Buy/Circuit City/Office Depot/whatever. Laptops are really cheap now that Vista came out..

Or you could wait until Black Friday and go to the Dell small business site. My dad got a really decent laptop from there for $600. XD.gif

My friend recently got a laptop with Vista premium, 120 hard drive or something like that from Staples at around 700. Preferably you should get one with the new Media Center (ft. tv tuner is even better.) They're starting to cost less and less, around 900-1000 or so.
