This heart aches to the point where it does not beat. And if it ever beats, the sound it makes is a saddening cry. It is a mix of sadness & contempt. Something the face is good at hiding. If you should ever listen closely, the heart says what the face hides. To protect itself from being hurt, the heart hides behind many veils. Veils that can fool even itself to believe that it is happy. Even so, the feeling of happy is fleeting, for it never lasts longer than a moment. To it however, a moment is all it needs...to beat happily once more.

//edit:: i need a new title. open to suggestions :D
//new edit:: if a mod or somebody could change the title to A Heart's Grief. that would be greatly appreciated :]

This is a pretty solid piece of writing, i like the way you describe it throughout, for a title, i would suggest something like "A heart's Grief"
