Attention all AO members!
We are having an Anime Otaku Banner Contest. I realized it would be nice to have a main banner for AO. One that we could display at the top of every new thread that has to do with AO. [So, it would go on the first page of the main Otaku's thread, Get to know your fellow Otaku, Banners, and future contest threads.] Judges *Katie [KissMe2408] *Rachael [Digital.Fragrance] *Tina [Tic Tac] *we currently aren't accepting more people to become judges We need a bunch of people to enter, so spread the word around! Deadline: *If you are entering this contest please comment so I can list your name! RULES: (1)Only 1 banner per person (2)Must have the words "Anime Otakus" written somewhere on it. (3)Must fit within signature requirements on CB QUOTE SIGNATURES Signatures should not take up more than 300 pixels of vertical space (equivalent to 20 lines of text) and 548 pixels of horizontal space (to prevent from stretching). Signature images should be less than 100kB in file size when combined. How you use the allotted space is entirely up to you. (4)Can be on any Anime you like, represent your favorite, you can mix a few different ones if you like. Remember it's going to be the MAIN BANNER, so be sure to be creative, try your best, and aim to please everyone. (5)You must be an AO member. If you aren't a member, please go to the "Anime Otaku" thread, and simply state "I want to join!". You'll get your member # and then you can start working on that pretty banner =) Easy stuff! If you'd like a few different ideas check out some of the banners that some of our members have already submitted in the AO Banners Thread Have fun! Can't wait to see the banners! I love theotaku.com, but you have to register. It also doesn't have a lot of pics, but has brief descriptions of several animes and some really cute fan art and wallpapers.
I am completely enamored with Rumiko Takahashi. Check out http://www.furinkan.com/ where you can also read about and see pics of my all time personal favorite, Ranma 1/2.
