As some of you may have read my previous short story: Kaylie's Tale of a Broken Soul Here is another romantic comedy brought to you by yours truly, Jane!

Here is a portion from the (coming soon) short story: Thomas' Christmas. Enjoy!

QUOTE
We were again interrupted but this time, by a heavenly voice. That belonged to, none other than Elyse Hansen. "Heh. Don't get any ideas, Kylie. He's way out of your league. And besides, he's mine." Elyse smirked and walked away, bringing her "posy" with her. Oh great, the girl of dreams is in love with my best friend. What a way to start the year off. I miss my chance and Elyse passes me. "Damn." I whispered to myself. Brandon sees me and tries cheering me up. "Hmm...You shouldn't bother with someone like her. Those are the snobbiest girls anyway. Oh yeah, I just remembered. Jonathan said somethin' about going to his house 'cause his sister's friends are gonna be over. And you know WHO his sister is right?" Brandon grinned. But of course I knew who she was. Debbie Tumson, the captain of the varsity cheerleading team. Brandon was probably noting the fact that there might be girls there. Hot ones. “No shyt, of course I know who she is.” I replied sarcastically. I wasn’t in the mood to kid with anyone but I agreed to go to Jonathan’s house, just for the hell of it. “Alright, after school meet me up near Sanford’s. You know where that is right? Near that effed up house down my block.” Brandon replied. “Iight; I’ll be there.” I said quickly. The bell sounded for next period and it seemed like the day could only get worse. Elyse was in my math class, two tables down to the right. I couldn’t really see her, because some fat kid kept on getting in the way. After a while; I just gave up on looking and tried to work. Brandon and Jonathan didn’t do much to improve my mood either. Every time Brandon tried to help me, I always found Elyse looking at him which made me even more pissed. So I just told him to leave me alone for a bit. Jonathan was too busy trying to pick up every hot girl he saw, to even pay attention to my crisis. Every hour or so he’d give me an occasional “Yo, you okay?” without waiting for the answer, he was off again. “Holy crap. It’s the end of last period!” Jonathan screamed. “Alright alright, you all gotta be at my house before 6. ‘Cause if my mom knows that we have friends over, me and my sister are screwed.” He sighed loudly and walked to his bus. Alas, it was only me and Brandon. We both cracked up, it was way to strange for us. “Haha; yo I’m gonna go and change. I’ll talk to you later.” Brandon said finally and left through the front gate of our school yard. Later at Jonathan’s house: we were all ODing on the food. Pigging out on the cheese doodles and what not, when the front door opens. Everyone spins their head around to see who it is.
