I really like this girl and have for some time now and have always been a little hesitant to take it any further than friendship or ask her out because i dont know if she feels the same way about me. Hmm, to me, it doesn't really sound like she's too interested in you. Like other have said, maybe she's just being silly and goofing around with you. I think you should just continue being her friend and see if she makes any obvious moves.

it may sound silly, but the way she was acting was more like she was a guy talking to someone he fancies, not a girl. Girls tend to be more flirty, guys more jokey. Tbh I think she just sees u as a mate and was just being silly.
