what will be the difference compared with the current DS?
Besides the color, of course.

It's smaller, screen is brighter and has higher contrast than the PSP screen, stylus goes in sideways, power button is like the GBA SP's instead of a button and the D-Pad looks like the GBA micro's D-Pad.

Didn't I mention a DS redesign in a few of my posts? I thought everyone knew that there was a DS redesign in the works anyway. That's why I've been holding out.

By the way, has anyone else seen the other DS designs that have been released around the world? Some were promotional or contest only (there was a Pepsi Blue nintendo DS in Japan). 50 Cent (of all people) has a custom DS that's in camouflage colors and with G-Unit printed on the front.

luckily for ds! psp needs more designs, and changing the psp faceplate voids the warranty. mad.gif

A TV tuner? And Opera? That might just convince me to replace my DS.

Internet + touch screen = much easier than psp typing.

Uh, I don't think the Lite version will have the tuner and Opera built in. It's likely that the regular DS will be able to take advantage of both features.

ooo cool i saw the article on OPERA. infact i remember talking about it in my computer program class. its an old browser thats why i forgot about it. so the tuner will come in a card also is that what you are saying?

but i am really excited to hop on to the internet using the ds. navigating throught the ds is much more easy than the psp. i used one and it took really long to scoll to where you want it to.

Wow. I love the whole sleekness and the color for this Nintendo DS Lite--even though I pefer black because I tend to get things dirty; especially when they are white. Lol, I'm glad I waited though--Nintendo's always been my favorite(:

I heard about that. Opera is much better than psp's browser pinch.gif but we'll see how it will perform.

It will also have a tv tuner.
