Theres this guy who i like and he has braces... So last week he tried to kiss me but i said no cause i wasnt ready... Well he told my friends he likes me and i like him.. but im getting braces in 2 weeks and im afraid if i do kiss him then that the braces will lock...(and now i am ready to kiss him)
 is braces locking a rumor? and if its not is there a way to avoid it?

I didn't have any advice because by the time I got my braces, everyone else's was already off. I did find this though:

It's a rumor. A retarded one at that. I mean..The only way I could possibly think of getting your braces locked is if you're kissing in a very odd position. Unless you kiss with your teeth..and that's not even kissing.
