There wouldn't happen to be a way for me to put space between the modules on the left and the actual blog, would there?

Try putting a open div layer at the bottom of your code in your header. Like this:

CODE

<div style="margin-top: ##px; margin-left: ##px;">

Then replace the "##"s with actual numbers. Since you have modules in your xanga, I'm not positive it will work, but it's worth a shot.
