Yeah I dont know what any of you guys are talking about in your past posts. Maybe Im just dumb but I dont understand your computer lingo. SO pretty much all I want to know, and Ive searched for this but nothing made sense, how do I at my computer put one skin or layout, whatever, back ground" that is different from the one I have now, how do I change it into the one I want. I mean I saw the background I wanted, It said for me to click and paste and post but where? Where do I do this at. I tried on my myspace editing thing and it only did it to that area not my main page. Please Help, and describe it in a way that isnt gigga bytes and what have you's! cry.gif

I'm not sure I understand, but I'll try to explain.

When installing a new myspace layout from createblog, you must:
1. read the description, notes, anything to see if some code will conflict with another..or notes from the designer.
2. right click or ctrl+v, and paste them into your 'about me'. you can pretty much put them in any section, but it is reccomended that they be placed into your about me.
3. hit preview, and if everything is okay, hit submit.

if you meant you wanted a layout, but wanted to change or have a background, then you will have to the following:

go into your codes, and find something that looks like:

body {
background-image:xx;
background-position:xx;
background-color: xx; }

if there is already something for background-image, do this:
replace what, in my example, says 'URLHERE' to the link for your image.
[you can upload your image on a site like imageshack and you will get a screen full of links. Select the one that says 'DIRECT LINK'.]

background-image:url(URLHERE);
background-position: center center;
background-repeat: no-repeat;

the position of the image is yours to pick.
there are many positions in which it can be placed, and it's pretty straightforward..
it can be changed to bottom right, bottom left..or top left, top center, top right, center left, center right, bottom center
what you select for 'background-position:x' will determine where your background is placed.

for the 'background-repeat:x' that can be changed to:
repeat, repeat-y, repeat-x.
repeat-y means it will repeat vertically. [ie, up and down]
repeat-x means it will repeat horizantally. [ie, left to right.]

I hope I didn't confuse you more..:-\.
