I am trying to make a layout, the style layout i want is the one that scrolls down, not one in a window.

Pic.

Im still a bit confused as to what i should do, the picture is what i want it to be like. The writing will be in the red area. What should i repeat, what should i include in the background, etc.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks, i will...actually looking at them, is shows most of the basics. I already know how to like, code it and stuff. The thing that confuses me is what to make the background (what repeats, and what doesnt). Like, in my xanga now

Xanga

The background is everything but the main picture, therefore, they are repeating. So, what i want to know, is what i should do in this case.

Reapeat-y, so it goes down the page. Cut off the very bottom pixel and use it for your background, set as reapeat-y and then... Congrasts, you've created a pixel streatch.

You should have started a new topic... but anyway,
did you post the code of the layout into your Look and Feel page -> Header -> Input your own Header HTML?
