This is the voting thread for the "Createblog Writing Contest".
Thank you to the 6 people that submitted entries and put the time and effort into it :) *Remember the contest was to write a great opening line for a book or short story. RULES (1)You may only vote for 1 entry. (2)You may leave comments also if you wish. (3)Sorry but the writers names won't appear with the poems. (4)Winners will put put into the Hall of Fame for Writers on CB (5)You Steal any of these lovely pieces, you die! (6)This thread will close on November 14th. [TIP] Remember this is a "creative" writing contest. When you judge these, remember to judge with creativity as well! ENTRIES FOR CREATIVE WRITING CONTEST. (1) QUOTE "As in most circumstances when something bad is to happen, such as the world ending, there was silence on the small planet of Gerthmaesh. Creatures of flight had all sought out safety, “waiting out” what was to come. The sun had begun to darken in the course of it’s death thus turning the warm day into a cold night. " (2) QUOTE "I opened the door, and I couldn't believe my eyes. A grin, ear to ear, jumps upon my face. Yet, as I walked out of my house, I had a funny feeling that something was going to happen. Something far beyond my knowledge." (3) QUOTE "In the whirlwind of events that happens every day, only the most trustworthy can be recorded in this journal. The beautiful tale of mystery, romance and chaos ensues, lucky reader..." (4) QUOTE "in this point of time sins and demons are everywere, doing unholy things every min. all this death cause people feel like it as they dont care for the victim's lives. everywere in this steel sorrounding filled with the smell of metal, gun smoke, and blood with the sounds of the gun's thunder, screams, and cries for mercy." (5) QUOTE "How I love that intense, passionate sex. The way he held me, touched me, loved me." (6) QUOTE "Comforted by the memories of Havasupai and a tiny red rock that Bob gave me, I began the journey that would put the pieces of my life together again. Honoring the dreams of life that anchored my cancer surgery and treatment left me without a job, money, car, insurance or direction. I hoped going home would help to heal the open wounds that were festering since childhood." MINI-CONTEST There was only one entry for the mini-contest. (contest on "growth" in couplet style) Azn_at_heart is our winner automatically..here was his entry: QUOTE growing up and seeing the truth
everday lesson learned and day that passed i become more complex i wonder what is the very important lesson i will learn next as i learned a while ago....the only i had considered as a dove now this i found that it was her attituded that i had lothe see had always made fun and taunt me i was too blind to even see as i grew i wondered "y should i be a stereotype" since then i try to become more diffrent everyday with all my might though my outside and inside grown very much, with new lessons made but still as a kid i was very mature and that still stayed |
