Dressier look: pull your hair back into an updo. Tease the crown of your hair and slip the headband right behind your ears. Volume is key here because headbands will flatten out your hair where it uh...touches the hair. So unless you want to look like a prim and proper schoolgirl, a little teasing at the crown is ideal.
I'm thinking like this Or you could just watch a few episodes of Gossip Girl and get a few tips from Blair, you could wear it like her on a regular basis. http://fashionolic.blogspot.com/2009/05/co...-headbands.html |

You can probably wear the first one like this:
And for the second one, like this: You don't necessary needs bangs to wear headbands though. And you can always part your hair to the side. It looks better that way, imo.
Reason for edit: Damn I'm slow. Gigi beat me.

I don't have bangs either and I like headbands a lot. I would suggest getting a really thin one and putting it behind your ears without pushing the hair back, it can look really flattering if you get the right style.
