Buuump.
I don't like that we can only use 255 characters in a comment. I had to split up my comment into 3rds... It was kind of sad. |

aww really? how come? =( It was a bit premature to say everything but I've noticed that this new forum organization makes me really not want to venture into the resource center anymore (the clincher in my decision to step down), and I definitely preferred the cB3 forum layout.I don't like how everything in the resource center is so much more compacted than it used to be. While I do find that more forums in the design center (ie. webmasters' corner, developers' cubicle) were necessary, I don't think it was necessary to merge some of the forums and completely remove some of the other ones; there are a shitton of pinned topics now and some strangely merged pinned ones in order to try and reduce the number. :( I'm not sure I like that showcases are all lumped together now. Oh, and where did blogger scripts go? I don't think I like that layout input/feedback on the forums is now gone and no longer adds to post count because I know there are a few members (blaqheartedstar, IVIike, and themarkster, in particular; I think Lanochka, too, probably a few others) that critique layouts constructively and those posts were definitely quality. I find it strange that only the resource center was revamped over so little discussion while the community center wasn't after a lot of discussion. It makes the site unbalanced, especially when you compare people staff with 24 forums to mod (plus backstage) to design staff (7 forums and backstage). I don't like how difficult it is to get to the member stats page now (what used to be the member profile page). I constantly click my username at the top right and get to my personal subdomain profile, and I have to hunt around for one of my posts in order to look at my stats. Could a link to "my stats" be added in the top right red link box? While I do somewhat like the personal profile pages, I don't think I like that cB is becoming more myspace/facebook-esque and more of a networking site than a forum. I don't like the change back to Verdana as the default font for the forums; I think we (members in general) preferred the Arial. I also think that the Verdana font is what's making the entire forum index look bulky compared to cB3. I don't like the serif font in reply box (the box I'm typing into right now). I don't like how clicking the cB logo image at top no longer takes me back to the forum index but rather the createBlog homepage. I also don't like how there's no longer an address thing at the bottom of the page (at the top of the page, there's Forums / Community Center / The Lounge..). With cB3, there was a navigation addy thingy at the bottom of the page as well, and I got REALLY used to just clicking "Forums" to get back to the forum index. Now, I kind of sit here confused before realizing, OH I need to find a [Up] link. And I don't like how online status appears on my profile when I've chosen to log in as invisible. :( I'm also sad that the Member's Username History has been taken away. I also don't like that I can't add James (!!!!!!!!!!) to my friends list, as he is my best cB friend but that's completely not any of your doing so.. um nevermind on that and JAMES CHANGE YOUR USERNAME SO THAT YOUR PROFILE PAGE IS VALID, butthole. :( There are things I do like, so excuse the super bitchy post, I'll eventually get around to listing what I do like. Edit- I crossed out what I got used to. |

Is it hard to make a cb skin? Maybe some of us members can make some. hi, for cb5 (maybe six months from now, im going to build my own forums where its going to be very very very easy to skin. in the meantime, one of the features im going to complete wtih cb4 is so members can browse all cb4 pages using their own skin. this was actually part of xeloo, a dead project that i never launched. that layout comments don't count towards posts i ddint realized people posted constructive criticism until reading Azarel's post above. although its not a bug, ive put this in the bug report list. Buuump. I don't like that we can only use 255 characters in a comment. I had to split up my comment into 3rds... It was kind of sad. hi, sorry i didnt realize people would post long comments. ive updated the db to support up to around 65,000 characters. cheers. =) |

^ If you are talking about the "stats" as in our old profiles, you can go to it by clicking on the users name in a topic, and under "View member profile" it says "View member stats".

Mentors still aren't members. :( If I click Mentor next to Group in my profile, it doesn't take me to other Mentors' profiles. Same goes for the Overall Posters' list.

I dont really like the new layout. And the font seems bulky like other people said. But I guess it takes getting used too.

Arial still isn't one of my favourite fonts, but I got used to it in cB3, so it's better than Verdana.

I don't like the font on the side. I remember when it was Arial size 8pt for the. And the regular font was Arial size 11 or 12.
GAH I JUST READ THAT JUSUN FIXED IT! wooooot<3 Except for on the sideee... |

Yayyy for Arial. Although I love Robbi's request of being able to have our own personal default font.

"my account" should be rename to somewhat "my profile option".
our username at the top should be rename to somewhat "profile" rather than our username. it's very confusing and hard to get used to thinking a different way. I don't like the username at the top right that lead me to a new profile. I want another one that will lead me to the old profile too! I want to be able to view all my posts with simple clicks. |
