I naturally have double eyelid. Since I live in an Asian neighbourhood, a lot of them use the tape. I don't get why people don't prefer their natural looks and will spend so much money on just to wear make-up and whatnot. I rather be normal and not have a boyfriend or whatever, then pasture my face or wear stuff to make me look nice. I know I'm fugly though.

hah, ive worn those once. i was in china and i was doing this photoshoot and they put that stuff on me. it was weird, and it felt kinda funny to peel it off afterwards. hah. i kinda already have double eyelids(more than most asians have that is) but i guess they wanted more.

Wonder why its only sold in Asia, eh?
 I have them naturally, but it seems to be a big deal to the asian single eyelid people. A lot of them get them done by surgery. |

i live in hk... and here "double eyelid tapes' are quite common.
the 'tapes' are shaped in a way so that it fits the shape of your lids- so assuming that you do it correctly your lashes wont rip off and it does work..... its the cheaper and less painful way of getting "double-eyelids" 'cause surgery is loads more expensive (you can get a set of 10 for 10 bucks HKD) and auno....surgery involves getting bleedy looking effects for a while plus ridiculous bandaids, etc. and i agree with not knowing how annoying it is to have chinky eyes...>.<" |

well i dont get why some of you find it "disgusting" cus it really is, u know, a piece of tape on ur eyelid, it doesn't involve blood or anything like that.
well, for ppl with naturally chinky eyes, its just...MOST ppl look better with 'creased eyelid' 'cause it gives you eyes some detail; why? 'cause most chinky eyes are tiny and boring colored already. and thats all i can really say.... |

i want one of those..so when i get older... i am probably going to have ot surgerly done like my mom
the double eyelids are easier to put on make-up, like if I put eyeliner on top of my eye..i wouldn't be able to see it b/c it gets covered |
