I think it would be a nice thing if there was a pets forum in the community center or a pets subforum in the interests forum. Because it would be nice if there was a forum where we can talk about animals and our pets. I've been seeing a reasonable amount of pets topics lately so yep.

nice in theory, but the forum would be too specific. i can just see 55000 polls about
'cats vs dogs' or 'horses vs rabbits' or 'turtles vs pet rocks'. how long would THAT take to get old? like you said, there are threads around, and those threads should be sufficient. |

It's a good idea, but it's... too specific. Gah. I don't know the word and that's not it, but there wouldn't be a fair amount of posts in there, and the posts in there would be like the ones James mentioned. Either that or "what should I name my dog?" and things like that.
I do like the idea though. I just think the topics would get repetitive in there. |

I don't think there is a need to create a subforum for pets.
There are a lot of websites/forums dedicated to pets on the Internet already. |

I don't think enough people post about pets for it to get its very own subforum. Plus it's not broad enough.

An interesting idea, but I don't know how much traffic it'd get. There don't seem to be that many pet topics on cB.

Yeah, and also, not many people want to talk about pets to begin with, so it'd end up being a dead forum with only like.. five people posting in it.
