So while I was eating my delicious In N' Out Burger this afternoon, I remembered that In N' Out isn't anywhere else BUT in the state of Californa. I don't know how anyone can live without eating In N' Out every once in a while!!

But then I started to wonder... what other food places are like In N' Out in the other states? Does the state that you live in have a food thats only available if someone were to live/visit there??

I think Maryland and some of the eastern shore states are the only ones with WaWa's. I heard that somewhere. But it's great, open 24-7, amazing hot chocolate and hoagies!

Well, we have a ton of Culvers. I think it's a midwest thing, because I think they have them in IL and OH. Home of the butterburger and frozen custard. Mmm, heart attack.

Graeters - There's a few in Ohio and I think 1 or 2 in Kentucky. Best ice cream in the world biggrin.gif

LaRose's - Alot in Ohio, some in Kentucky and Indiana. They have OK pizza but not my favorite

Skyline and Goldstar - Big in Ohio. There's some in other states, though

IL only has PORTILLO'S! (Right?)
Such good food.

Except I think I heard that they opened one or two in California..
And for some reason I keep seeing Jack in the Box comercials a few times, but there is definitely none here. Otherwise, I'd be all up on that shit. I think thats a California thing too. shrug.gif

Edit;; Had to look; 2 in California and 1 In indiana

OH White Castle! Midwest thing + New York and New Jersey.
They have resturants and everywhere else just sells it :P

I was totally thinking about this the other day, too. But I can't think of any other restaurants beside In N Out (I live in California). Jeez. I couldn't imagine a place without an In N Out around. Lame.

On a side note, different regions have different grocery stores. I'm sure over half of you have never heard of publix, or wegmans.

I was going to mention In N Out too. :) I absolutely LOVE it! I'd mention Miguels Jr's, but I'm not sure if that's an only California thing, either.

I do know that Porto's can only be found in California. =x And whoever doesn't live here is totally missing out<3
