Agreed. They tried WAAYY too hard to make it seem funny. And Scary Movie 4 looks soooo bad. I think everytime I watch a "Scary Movie" I lose hundreds of brain cells.

I think Dumb and Dumberer was extremely terrible.

And RV was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I just couldn't stand it! And Jojo should stick to singing, not acting. Please!! And Robin Williams, you're old.

Highschool Musical. I'm sorry, but I hated that movie. It was so incredibly cheesy and I forced myself through it 'cause everyone at school was like, 'WATCH IT IT'S LIKE THE BEST MOVIE EVARR!!!"

Uhh... The Amityville Horror remake. Not scary! It was sooo predictable and all the events had no relevance to each other. It was so stupid, it was scary!!

Hmm. I would say that the Devil's Rejects was much worse.
I would also like to note that I love passionately the first act of House of 1000 Corpses. I tend to like car horror. I love the gas station/freak house setup. The clown. I absolutely love the presentation of character within the first act. Some real classic dialouge and a healthy level of homage. However, as the movie begins to move into the 2nd act I am overcome with a wave of deep disapointment. I don't at all like where it goes. But, I wouldn't say ever that I hated it. I think it is actually quite underrated. But, it isn't ever close to a favorite.

ermm.gif Eep. I haven't seen The Devil's Rejects yet. I figured since I didn't like House of 1000 Corpses, I wouldn't bother seeing it. I guess I made the right decision. I don't know. I guess I just really didn't like the uber-weak plot. Heh.

Yeah, you probably made the perfect choice in not seeing The Devil's Rejects. Although, they are very very different movies. But, it was truly awful. Oh, dare I say it, the plot, in all honesty, isn't any weaker than Tobe Hopper's Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I would say the main problem with the film was its near down-syndrome-ADHD-full-on-retarded editing added to its over-the-top story line. Its antagonists reach a new level of rediculousness. The costume design, editing, and plot progession only amplify the silliness in which our villians live. At first it had a kind of demented charm, but once you realize that the film has no point whatsoever, you feel like you're being robbed. Not cool.

Still, that introduction is so much fun. XD.gif

House of 1000 Corpses.......was interesting to say the least. Being the left brained shmuck, the only think I could think of was, "How the hell do you keep all those people alive down in that cave?"

I didn't really like Hidalgo... it was mostly just Viggo Mortenson (spelling?) riding a horse... ugh.

I even liked the 13th Warrior better... and I hate those epic type of movies... blehh.

^ Hahaha! I actually enjoyed The Village. I know so many folks that didn't though. The most commonly given reason is that it was predictable and that the climax was less powerful than they had expected. Coincidentally, I thought The Sixth Sense was was predictable and ridiculously overrated, but that's just me.

There's this movie my mom made me watch the other day, "Someone Like You..." I felt like I was having a cavity pulled without any novocaine administered the entire time watching it. It's not that I don't like Hugh Jackman or that I don't appreciate Ashley Judd, but I felt ashamed for them, I honestly did. I give it a: sick.gifsick.gifsick.gifsick.gifsick.gif

My sentiments exactly. I really dislike The Sixth Sense. To me, the film has no substance, it's just a twist gimmick. Highly overrated, and amazingly easy to predict. I got it five minutes in, "he got shot! I get it!"

As for the Village, I secretly believe that everyone who hates it dislikes it simply for its marketing campaign. They were ticked into believing, as many of us were, that it was a horror film and unpleasantly found that it was actually a love story. I had no problem with this. In fact, I was delightfully surprised. Others, not so cool with it. As for me, the photography was always a high point. Just a beautiful film.

flowers.gif Marrrryyy me?

Kidding, but, really. I agree with you completely. (About both movies.) The Sixth Sense was blah.

OOH! SECRET WINDOW! WITH JOHNNY DEPP! I guessed that one early too. He's skytzo. My friend got so mad she threw a pillow at me. That hurt.
