i had the same topic before, and i got many answers, but none of them did what i wanted them to. they just made like..tye-dye type swirls. i want like..those swirls that a lot of people have..mostly on the sides of their backgrounds. how do i make those?..

(i have adobe photoshop.)

use a font thatz really swirly nd use the marquee tool to select the swirly parts that you want .. therez sumthin like diz in the webdesign chat forum

Ooh.. i'm 99.9% that's a brush ^^ go to google and search for "swirl brush" and you should find some. i have two called 'thorns" but i forgot where i got them.

Yeah yeah, they're brushes! I've been asking about this for ages and someone finally filled me in like 3days ago now. If you search for photoshop pro (PSP) brushes you'll come across them. I'll look up which ones I have (cause I have 3 sets of them now) and let you know. I just my xanga with it the other day laugh.gif

yes they are brushes. if you have adobe photoshop, then look for downloads that are for ps...and you should have winzip or sum other kind of program to unzip ur files...though u probabli already have that?

for making them you can usually use a elegant font, take the flourish off the text and paste that in new window. and define that as a brush. otherwise i don't know how to make them. but those font swirls of elegant brushes are already overmade and u can usually find them already made .. soo .. yeah~

um.....what do u mean by marquee tool...like where is it in photoshop...is it in the toolbar cuz i cant see it...?
