u can buy a good ceramic one from target for 20 bucks. Thats not that expensive. If you dont have 20 dollars, try blow drying it as stright as possible, and then take a curling iron to it. it will take a helluva lot longer, but it will do just about the same thing. And ask ur parent for a new strightener. And take better care of it this time.

I know what you mean, blowdryer dosn't work for me either, ti's a certain type of hair where a blow dryer jsut maeks it worse.

I find that when I don't want to straighten my hair I just tie it in a tight bun when it dries than when I let it down I DO NOT brush it (never brush it) jsut run your finger thorugh it, and I find it dries out not too puffy and with cute crinks in it. ofcourse if I jsut let it out it'll get puffy after about a half an hour of walkign around so I stick it up in a pony tail, bun, pig tails, or braid.

I strightened my hair to day, but tha'ts ocne in a blue moon really, I usually jsut put it in braids.

and ya, there are some cheap ceramic straighteners from the drug store, but they suck anyway so I wouldn't recomend buying one. but w/e you wanna do is fine. _smile.gif

good luck with yer hair flowers.gif

EDIT

what the heck I'll post pics of my hair.

Dried out:

dried in bun JUST taken out...so it's still nice:

yup yup, see the difference ----^ never dry your hair out, and for me blowdryer doens't do a thing, jsut puffs it up.

?? If you're not going to help her out, don't respond at all. She is just asking for help. Not doing anything to you, is she?

Anyways, I suggest borrow one, or why not just let it natural. I bet it looks fine!

I really... don't know of any other way that would give the same effect. Do you have a curling iron? That can work as a striaghtener. How ironic.

I really wouldn't know, I use my Mom's straightner which cost about 150 dollars so she'd kill me if I broke it.

I'd say, don't worry about it! So what if your hair isn't completely straight? I highly doubt anyone will really care. And if they do, they're too superficial. And they should just forget about it. happy.gif

once done use biosilk silk therapy or john's frieda secret weapon
it's not going to be pin straight but close enough
