I haven't posted in this forum for a long time. But, I seem to be having some problems with my boyfriend. Here's a whole summary about him. He's not usually the sarcastic type, he's more on the sweet side. He never responds in one worded answers unless somethings bothering him. I've tried talking to him, thought I don't get much out of him. Read the conversation carefully, observe the emotions being tossed about.

yeah i understand ... i would be upset too if my boyfriend didn't want to talk to me on the phone especially since we do every single night. if he said that to me, i'd assume that something was wrong. it's not necessarily what you did...maybe something's going on with his family or school? you should try talking to him about it when he's in a more talkative mood.

maybe something came up during that chat; that didnt involve you.. but he doesnt want to talk about it so he wont worry you? I've known you and daniel for quite a while now. And i think Daniel does have something on his mind.. But maybe he feels that he doesnt want to tell you to get you worry since it is your 7 months. Or maybe its a small thing so he doesnt want you to like get upset about it? Hope things get better.

Perhaps you're right, Jue. I'd really like to help him, and I know he tries to not let little things get in the way, but somehow it ends up getting in the way anyway.

First of all, happy 7th months Jane.
You already know what I said but I'll say it again. There might be something wrong with him or he just might be having a bad day, but if he doesn't feel like talking about it don't pressure him because he obviously got annoyed. You asked him what was wrong several times (which is ok) and he said nothing so you did your part and there's not much you can do now until he talks/comes to you. Although, I have to be honest he doesn't exactly seem "fine" or "nothing" to me. You were talking on AIM which is difficult because you can never figure out what the person means. Try to stay calm and figure it out.

if you did; did anything go wrong that might have caused him to be upset? or; like i said to you through aim; maybe its one of those times where he has man problems >_> and he needs to talk to someone of the same gender? |

My boyfriends just like that , he gets annoyed when i keep asking and he is also very sarcastic take it as a joke and laugh it off when hes like no , be like alright =] and change the subject.

I know that my boyfriend gets kind of..uninspired, let's say, or not talkative, but when I do tell him I love him usually responds with an "I love you" back and not a "K." That would just piss me off, I'd wanna smack him upside the head. I'm really pushy. I sometimes have to force my guy to talk, heh. If he responded with a simple, "No," if I asked him if he wanted to talk on the phone, I'd be like, "Why the hell not??" =P But whatever..just give him some time to chill. Leave him alone for a couple of days. Don't call him or anything. And watch him come crawling back. ;D |

Maybe he is just having a little bit of mood swing.
If he responds unmotivatedly (idk if it's a word), don't make him respond more because it might result the completely the opposite of what your objective is to force him. Stay normal in the conversation! Don't push him too hard! Give him time to stabilize his emotions. Happy 7 months! |

^ I guess you're right. Being a sensitive person, I was crushed when I saw that he didn't want to talk on the phone with me.
 and to top it off, when I asked why...he couldn't give me a reason. When I expressed myself to him, I only got a "K". Perhaps I'm being selfish, but this isn't how he's usually like.

Besides the fact that you kept saying hun, I would've got really annoyed. He was obviously giving you hints that he did not want to talk at this moment. Do not force words out of his mouth, that's one of the most annoying things ever, and to get mad about it is even worse. When he is over his PMSing time, he would talk to you, or even tell you what happened.
But yes, he is a jerk as well. And you were really annoying. Put that together, and its a bomb. |

 im kidding, he has something on his mind for sure, occasionally i would do the same to my bf, and eventually he gets it out of me. So, keep talking to him. If that's not it, it most likely is just a mood swing. |

Hmm, whenever my boyfriend says that he doesn't want to talk to me on the phone, I would just call him anyways and we resolve our problems there.

I just think that he didn't want to be bothered at that moment, like maybe he was doing something of importance. Not that you aren't important, maybe he was playing some game. I <3 the guy I've been seeing (for 6 months now) yet sometimes I don't reply to him because I'm playing something. Then he messages again since I don't relpy and I get upset because I have to get out of the game to concentrate on talking to him so he won't feel ignored. That could also explain as to why he didn't want to talk to you on the phone, when I'm playing a game I don't want to talk to anyone either.
I know how you feel though, when my psycho ex and I would have fights I'd be crying on the phone saying "I love you" and he's be like "okay, bye." Hopefully your relationship never hits that low. But if it does you should get out, if he doesn't care that you're crying then he's just an assh*le. |
