Before I learned about "the birds and the bees" I though that when couples got married someone would just hand them a baby and they became parents. so once they said their "I do's" they would recieve some random baby.
Where did you think babies came from before you learned the horrible truth? Sorry if there is a topic already I searched pretty hard for one. If there is already just close it. |

naw, when i was younger i thought that everyone was adopted. because i was. And my brother was adopted seperately from me a few years later, so i thought everyone got their babies from the airport. lol i dunno |

i dont think i ever asked this question before. as a kid i thought you automatically get a baby when you marry.

My mom told me the real truth of where babies come from by showing me a viedo. I WAS HORRIFED. I was like 7 or 8. Yeah...*shivers*

I never really wondered about that as a kid.
 Then I learned about it in elementary school.....blah. You're not supposed to learn about that stuff when you're so young

To be honest, I never even thought about "How it happened."
And I didn't even know until 5th grade..when my firend told me about it. I was shocked I thought she was lieing! Esp. when she told me about the "period" thing. But then, I got a little more detail when Sex Ed classes began that year...I was shocked. |

My Parents never gave me the "talk" in like 5th grade the teachers were like, don't listen to people about where babies come from because they could be wrong...and I'm like....too late...

i asked my mom and she said that when two people really loved each other, they made a commitment to have a child together. And that was enough for me because she made it sound confusing!

I never really thought about it when I was a kid..
But I have a friend who thought babys came out of there dads coffee cups! LOL Erm, I learned in like 2nd or 3rd grade my mom gave me a book on it.. O_o I was just like, 'Oookay....... can I.. go now?' I didnt really care it was never really like, 'gasp, shock, ew, gross' *shrug* |

I knew that babies were made when two parents went to bed, got naked and started kissing, but I didn't know exactly what "sex" was. So I thought people went to bed naked and got pregnant.

i thought storks dropped them off cuz i would watch cartoons and i just thought that's how parents got their babies. Then i thought that they came from they belly...idk why lol

i thought if two people slept together, next day she'll be pregnant, i always thought it was like that till i was like 13. nobody ever told me.
 i had to come to forums and go to health classes to find out.

Well, when I was seven I watched that movie "Look Who's Talking" and in the openning scene all you see is the two people kissing and sperm swimming like crazy. As the process goes on you see nothing else elluding to any type of sexual activity, so I thought that was all there was to it.
KISSING = MAKING BABIES... Glad my mom set me straight the next year. |

i thought they just appeared in the womans tummy and they cut the belly open and ta da! a baby pops out.. i found out wat sex was around when i was 10 or something
